Ammunition hardness tester
Testmethod HBW10/3000
The cycle time for a test point at a depth of approximately 0.5 mm is 60 to 70 seconds.

Side view
The workpiece is loaded by a robot. On a turntable, the workpiece is rotated into the axis of the hardness tester.
The surface is prepared by milling to a selected depth.

The round material is clamped by flexible hold-down devices.

The round material can be loaded from several boxes within a CE fence. Non-compliant samples are sorted into a separate box. This system is fully automatic.

It would also be possible to load and unload the workpiece on a roller conveyor.
The hardness testing machine is the BHT-M 500 with surface preparation and test method HBW10/3000.

In the picture below there is a special solution for workpiece inline with sorting box. It will be a semiautomatic solution with surface preparation as well. Testmethod will be HBW10/3000.
